Current Events
Pep Band
Pep band times this week are Friday at 6:30 and Saturday afternoon at 3:30 at Paris Gibson. Students eligible to participate with us at the State Basketball tournament in Billings will need to sign up next week. We will leave sometime Friday and return Saturday. The times will depend on the success or lack of success of the basketball teams. Things will happen quickly.
AA Band Festival
The AA band festival will be held at Great Falls HS this year. Students from Helena Capital and Missoula Hellgate will join CMR and GFHS. The conductors will be Ed Powell from PLU, Rob Thomas from University of Vancouver, and Stephen Versavel from MSU. Individual band concerts will be on Monday March 1st at 7 pm, and the combined concerts will be on Tuesday March 2nd at 7pm.

District Music Festival
Sign up for district music festival is approaching. Students interested in playing solos or ensembles should be getting music and accompanists.
Symphonic Band auditions
Music for Symphonic band auditions will be available next week on Monday. Auditions will be the week of March 22nd.
Symphonic Spring Tour
The dates for the Symphonic Band spring tour are April 8-11.
